The hair stylists are the ones who do the work for the salon. They carry the name of the salon when they do their jobs. While of course, their reputations are at stake each time they shift their scissors and combs, it must be remembered that they are working for their companies or their respective hair salons.

Hair stylists must know the basics. They must know what cuts work well with a specific face shape. They must also know beyond the basic classic hair styles. Apart from this, they must also know other salon services like coloring and other forms of treatments.
